Zumba Party In Pink
To make an impact in a saturated fundraising market, one has to literally shake things up. With rbb Public Relations, Zumba Fitness’ three-month Party in Pink program with Susan G. Komen for the Cure inspired a national Zumbathon craze, raised $500,000 and moved 50,000 participants to dance for a cure at 788 events around the nation. Zumbawear sales soared by 74%, attendance at Zumba classes increased and instructors were so touched by the effort that they signed up for more workshop trainings and recruited friends. With Party in Pink as a key driver, Zumba Fitness experienced exponential growth in 2010.
