Matthew Soriano

Manager, Online & Member Services, Council of Public Relations Firms

Matthew Soriano serves as the Manager of Online & Member Services for the Council of Public Relations Firms. Soriano provides support in the organization and execution of Council events, assists the creation and writing of newsletters and other mailings, as well as the coordination of webinars and student orientated talent events. He also assists in the creation and maintenance of content for the Council webpage.

Soriano joined the Council from Heyman Associates, an executive search firm that specializes in public relations and communications. While with Heyman Associates, Soriano was responsible for project research and development, client relations and communications as well as network outreach for the company.

Prior to working Heyman Associates, Soriano worked in the radio industry editing, voicing, and producing commercials as well as assisting with station promotions and events for companies such as Cumulus Broadcasting and 2GB Radioworks in Sydney, Australia. He is a graduate of Marist College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
